Choice Project- For my choice project I chose to do portrait photography again. I choose to do this because I enjoy taking pictures of people that show different sides of their personality. To do that i experimented with different colors and lighting so that I could make my photos more unique.
Portraits Contact Sheet- These photos were taken in the gardens and field around east. For these photos I used aperture priority and put it at 5.6 in order to blur the background.
Hockney Project- These photos were taken outside of east high school, using my phone. I would suggest when taking photos for a montage that you first find a good place to stand because if you stand to far away or too close it can mess with the amount of images you end up with and may be hard to photograph from the same perspective.
Final Motion Photos
Motion Photos Stopped Motion- for these pictures I set my camera to an iso of 800, an aperture of 5.6, and a shutter speed of 400. These photos were taken on the outside of east and showcase a dancer doing a c jump. In these photos nothing is blurred and everything stays in focus.
Blurred Motion- for these pictures I set my camera to an auto iso, a shutter speed of 30, and a aperture of 5.6. These photos were taken on the turf at east and showcase a person flipping their hair. In these photos the persons body and setting is in focus however there hair and head is blurred.
Panning- for these pictures I set my camera to a shutter speed of 200, an auto iso, and aperture of 5.6. These photos were taken on Colfax and showcase cars going fast. In these photos the car stays in focus and the background is blurred.
Sequential Narrative These photos were taken at the 16th street mall. They tell the story of two people seeing each other after a long time. To create the story I used the scenery, clothing and table as props to represent the scene.
Narrative Photos These photos were taken at school and at my house. The purpose of this project was to tell a story with or project. The story on the left is about a girl who is from two different worlds, and the story on the right is about how technology alienates us.
